Hey, I'm Nayana. If you see a girl with dreadlocks sitting in the fifth row, center seat, at your theater... chew your popcorn quietly. And don't talk during the movie.
OK, now that we've got that straight, enjoy the bloggy goodness!
Reason #57,483 why I love living alone: the freedom to weep loudly and shamelessly in my living room while watching sappy girl movies. (I saw Stepmom and The Notebook last night.)
Nayana, I'm with you! The Notebook is one of the most romantic movies out there. I LOVE the two couples (old and young). When she "reappears" and they know they love each other still, I always cry knowing she'll slip away again.
I do love The Notebook, but it lacks the Switchoot factor. Plus, they filmed a lot of A Walk To Remember on Dawson's Creek locations, a show which I lub so much I use cutesy replacement words.
The trick is finding someone to live with that cries at the same stuff as you.
If you tear up at a "Cotton - The Fabric of Our Lives" commercial and your roomie/friend/lover only cries when all seems lost for poor Rambo, it's time to move...or at least watch your movies from the sanctity of your room.
Yeah, I throw up a facade of being an uncaring bitch like 95% of the time, so when I watched Juno again the other night, I had to hide my tears from my husband at the end, so he wouldn't laugh at me, leading me to kick his ass.

I love having that freedom too *ahem*
I love "The Notebook" a lot.

Gotta love that John Williams score in Stepmom.
I kind of enjoy A Walk to Remember more than The Notebook, but that's probably because of all the Switchfoot music.

I agree with David, Notebook didn't do much for me either. But A Walk to Remember gets me every time!

Oops. I guess I should have thrown up a spoiler alert, huh?
